Vomiting:
Many things can cause a dog
to throw up: illness, eating something they’re not
supposed to, trauma, etc. It is not unusual for a dog to
throw up once, especially when they have eaten something
that doesn’t agree with them, and usually does not
indicate that they need to see a veterinarian.
What you need to be
watchful for is repeated vomiting, or vomiting along
with other signs and symptoms such as diarrhea or no
bowel movements at all, not eating, fever, difficulty
walking or moving around, strange behavior, or if you
know that they have ingested something toxic.
If you see any of
these signs or symptoms along with vomiting, you need to
contact the clinic as soon as possible at 883-3456.
