Spring McKee, Veterinarian/Owner:
Dr. Spring L. McKee is originally from Wyoming, and wanted to be a veterinarian since she was a small child. She attended the University of Wyoming and the College of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University.
She graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1996 and immediately moved to the Polson area, where she has since been in private practice. She has two small children, Mesa and Aspen, a husband, James, and numerous horses, dogs and cats.
Taking care of Mesa and Aspen occupies much of Spring’s free time these days, but she also enjoys riding her horses, sewing, spending time with her husband and indulging her artistic talents.
James McKee, Owner:
James McKee is originally from Wyoming. After meeting Spring at the University of Wyoming, they married in the summer of 1992. Besides participating in the management of VetCare Montana, James also teaches high school math at Polson High School. He and Spring have two small children, Mesa and Aspen, that occupy much of their free time. He also enjoys hunting, golfing and woodworking.
Paula Lowder, Veterinary Nurse:

Paula and her husband, Gene, moved to Polson in 1996 from Washington with their two daughters, Jessie and Katelyn. Paula completed her veterinary technician training at Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington, Wyoming in 1984, and obtained her R.N. in 1990 while living in Yakima, Washington. Originally from Jackson, Wyoming, Paula and Gene enjoy riding horses and taking pack trips, and enjoying the peace and quiet now that the girls have (finally!) moved out.

Katie Hunsucker, Veterinary Assistant
Katie is a 2006 graduate of Polson High School, and
is a pre-veterinary major at Corban College in
Salem, Oregon.
Katie enjoys being outdoors, and baking with her
family, who still live in the Polson area.
Flo Haninger, Receptionist:
Flo moved to the Polson area in 1992 from California with her husband, Fritz. With previous management experience in the S&L industry in California, Flo brings a wealth of knowledge of personnel issues and customer relations. She enjoys scrapbooking, making soaps and lotions, creative writing, cooking and bird-watching.
